Description

Terroir & Character: Xigui is a legendary village nestled atop the steep granite riverbanks of Bangdong Township, Lincang. Operating at an uncharacteristically low altitude for Yunnan tea (750m), Xigui ancient trees benefit from the unique microclimate of river humidity and scorching mountain sunshine, creating tea of peerless intensity and aromatic nobility.

Distinctive Appearance & Aroma: Characterized by slender, dark green ‘willow-leaf’ leaves with hairless backs and virtually invisible stems. When brewed, the liquor releases a captivating bouquet of wild mountain orchid and rare wood-fungus aromatics.

Palate & Energy:

  • Taste: Bright golden broth with delicate initial sip that reveals sudden layers of strength. A subtle mineral astringency melts almost instantly into surging throat sweetness and salivation.
  • Cha Qi: Deep and warming, harmonizing the aristocratic elegance of Lincang teas with the raw commanding power reminiscent of Lao Banzhang.

Net weight: 357g traditional cake.

Tea Story

Every tea in our collection comes from ancient Yunnan mountain gardens. From hand-picking and pan-firing to rolling and sun-drying, each cake follows traditional craft. We practice dry-storage aging, allowing the leaves to transform naturally over time, revealing the true terroir of each mountain. A good cup of tea carries the journey from garden to cup.
