The place of origin is Brown Mountain, Brown Township, Menghai County, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Lao Banzhang is known as the “King of Pu’er Tea” and is one of the best Pu’er teas. Pu’er tea has the strongest tea flavor and is a standard large-leaf tea with thick strands, fat buds, golden and bright soup color, an overall aroma of nectar, obvious orchid fragrance, and a long aftertaste. The fragrance is long lasting. The tea soup is full of flavor, evenly distributed, quick to drink, long-lasting sweetness, excellent in brewing resistance, and very harmonious and fast in bitterness and astringency.
